Join us for Part I of an ongoing series to understand the steps we can and must take to support our community. Learn HOW to make change within ourselves and our organizations.

This session provides understanding and deconstruction of white ally-ship through activities, readings and personal narrative. Participants will be set up in small groups and a safe container will be created through agreements and a clear common purpose. A white supremacy checklist will be provided that can be shared with others and used to create a work plan for removing barriers at work and community of advocates and allies in the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand what it means to be an ally
  • Reflect on where you have fallen short
  • Recommit to addressing privilege and showing up for your community
