Mental Health in the Workplace: Practical Tips and Actions to Support Your Staff

Presented by: Andrea Herron - WebMD Health Services

Learn practical steps to create an action plan to better understand and support employees experiencing poor mental health at work.

1 in 5 US adults has a mental illness in any given year and most of them are employed. Leaders who know how to recognize and support an employee struggling with poor mental health can create a work environment that generates fewer absences, higher productivity, and greater loyalty to the company. Learn how creating awareness and an action plan to better support employees experiencing poor mental health at work can give you the confidence to engage in potentially life saving conversations.

  1. Understand the most common mental illnesses found in the workplace.
  2. Learn how other professionals handled real and complex situations.
  3. Gain practical tips for empowering managers to start difficult conversations.
  4. Discover ways to create a work environment that supports employee and business success.
