October Half-Day Luncheon & Seminar

Re-Designing HR Practices to Center Inclusion

Presented by: Katie Augsburger, SHRM-SCP

Leaders want to know how to evolve employment systems to prepare for the future of work.

The excitement for change is in the air, however, we cannot prepare for the future without being clear about our past. In order to dismantle broken systems, we need to explore how and why they were built this way.  Spend the day with PHRMA to explore how work was designed, who it was designed for, and why now is the time to usher in a more equitable and inclusive way of working.

This hands-on workshop presented by Katie Augsburger of Future Work Design, will leave you inspired, excited and prepared to take the courageous step towards breaking down old systems, and rebuilding a new, more healing and exciting future.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify opportunities that organizations can take to improve workplace design to be more inclusive and equitable for all employees
  2.  Get clarity on how our current systems create inequalities and how to start working to dismantle those inequalities using proven tools
  3. Practice techniques rooted in human-centered design to review current workplace practices.
