The rapid speed of change combined with a workforce at or near full employment brings unique challenges across all levels of today's organizations.

 

Low unemployment can affect the skill-set or "work readiness" of the employees you bring into the company. Longer term, only 12% of organizations are confident they can meet future skilled-talent needs.  


The skill-gap also carries over to leadership levels.  According to CEB, 80% of leaders do not have the skills needed to successfully navigate the new business environment, which includes an increasingly diverse workforce and a flattening of org structures leading to more horizontal, connected work.

 

This creates ongoing challenges for HR and L&D leaders, who must immediately build leadership acumen to effectively attract and retain people as well as grow the leadership pipeline to meet succession planning imperatives.

 

Join PHRMA for an engaging panel discussion as local talent leaders from multiple industries share ideas on how they are adapting to this changing landscape.
