The Future is electric: HR's role in transforming your business and building the workforce of tomorrow

Presented by: Anne Mersereau, VP of HR, Diversity & Inclusion at PGE

Objectives:

  • Develop effective workforce development strategies.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the role HR plays in building healthy communities and thriving, equitable economies.
  • Learn about the important role electricity will play in addressing climate change and how the workforce of tomorrow is changing.

Description:

PGE is transforming its workforce to lead the way to Oregon’s clean energy future and launch new smart grid technologies needed to make it happen. Many of the talent management challenges Portland’s oldest and largest electric company face are unique to a 21st century energy company. Many challenges are common to all employers in the Pacific Northwest. Come join in the discussion of what PGE and all of us can do as we work to build the workforce of the future.
